Voices and Visions of Village Life (VVVL) brings together scholars, educators, artists, and performers to enrich community dialogue through research, intergenerational workshops, cross-cultural interaction and public programs. Voices and Visions began as a collaborative effort between the arts and humanities to explore the many connections--past, present, and future--of Pawtuxet Village as a “place.”
In keeping with the VVVL mission, this Web site is dedicated to nurturing dialogue and creative expression reflecting life in all communities, such as Pawtuxet Village, that are rooted in the past and wish to maintain a unique sense of place. VVVL seeks to be a catalyst and model for imaginative engagement through the multiple lenses of culture, time and place.
Holly Ewald and Michael Bell are eager to share their expertise in creating community based arts and humanities programs. They are available for single presentations, workshops and longer term consultations.
